JKF Fischer, a German Baroque composer, included his Chaconne in A Minor in the penultimate movement of the “Melpomene” suite of his Fischer nine-suite collection for keyboard, Musicalischer Parnassus. It works well for the intermediate-level harpist and is great for recitals and special event jobs. The beautiful harmonic progression and stepwise bass line perfectly support the moving melodic variations in the top voice.
